Our second song today is “Till Good Luck Comes My Way.” Gaylord Ravenal has been gambling on his last day in Natchez and must bring it all to an end for a while. In many ways, every gambler is an addict. Instead of getting high on drugs, the gambler is addicted to the adrenal highs of winning at cards or the gaming tables.

It is just as deadly and can rob the gambler of any chance of happiness. Here is Jerry Hadley from the 1990 concert recorded at Avery Fisher Hall.
