It is Monday, and we are about to return to our exploration of the music from Show Boat. The next song we are going to feature is “Life Upon the Wicked Stage.” Ellie, the comedic second female lead on the Cotton Blossom, goes into town and is surrounded by women who believe that show business is all fun and games.
