Today, we are going to feature the first major song to come out of the 1927 musical Hit the Deck–“Sometimes I’m Happy (Sometimes I’m Blue).” It also came in Act I, Scene 3 of the show and was sung by Loulou and Bilge. We are going to provide four versions today, the first one being the 1927 recording by Roger Wolfe Kahn and his Orchestra, featuring Franklyn Baur on vocal.
