Today, we are going to continue with The Vagabond King. Monday, we heard “Tomorrow” from Act 2. Today, we are moving into Act 3, where we find Huguette awakening to the fact that her beloved Villon is in love with the Lady, Katherine. She puts a brave face on the situation and swears that she is strong and independent, needing no one.

Our first clip is from the rare 1930 Paramount movie, and features Lilian Roth as Huguette. This is the Waltz Huguette.
