Rodgers–DE, Old enough to love

Well, here we are in July. Heck, I am just starting to thaw out from our long winter. But no complaints.

The next song is entitled “Old Enough to Love,” but the title is misleading. Many make the mistake that it is aimed at young ladies. It is not. It is intended to demonstrate that older men make better lovers than younger men.

Speaking as an older man, I would say that older men are more capable of giving deep love and affection; but I would leave sex to those men who can move without the limitations produced by arthritis.

Let’s see what Larry Hart had to say on the subject, as he put words in General Tryon’s mouth (sung by Philip O’Reilly).
