Today, we are featuring a very special clip, provided by the Carnegie Hall Archives and Rose Museum. In it, Gino Francesconi, the Director of the archives and museum, provides more background information about the 1939 Constitution Hall fiasco and the concert in front of the Lincoln Memorial. You will also see some of Marian’s recording of the Ave Maria, a performance that we will provide in full on Friday.
