The B side of the Victor release, 18314-B, was Marian Anderson’s rendition of Stephen Foster’s “My Old Kentucky Home.” What you are seeing in the clip is the SD-4 disc that was released in Japan prior to WWII in 1941 by the Victor subsidiary, JVC. We have heard Paul Robeson sing this song in earlier posts; now, let’s listen to the lighter version, sung by Marian Anderson when she was 44 years old.
