This is Thursday, and it is time to wear a bit of green and sing along, as Dinny sings that “This faithful little band here, Together heart and hand here, May see the dawn of freedom break tonight!” The operetta was set in 1798, and the three separate risings that occurred in that year were brutally put down by the English. Here we are more than 200 years later, and we are still working to reunite the Island Nation. I have great faith that we will see that glorious day, especially now that we have Queen Elizabeth on our side.
