The second version of “You’re the Cream in My Coffee” comes from Annette Hanshaw, who sings the full lyric, including the short introduction to the song. However, one of the most interesting aspects of this song is the middle bridge, starting with the words “most men tell love tales.” The delightful syncopation, within the love song, makes it all the more special.
