Kern–Oh, Lady Before I Met you youtube
In Act II, Hale gives a party, but May flirts with other men to get him jealous. Hale tells May how much he loves her in the song “Wheatless Days,” but Molly’s mother is still against the marriage. In typical Wodehouse style, Molly and Bill express their love for each other, while admitting that each one had an earlier love in their lives. As you will hear when you listen to the song, “Before I Met You,” the flirtation for each of them occurred many years before they met.
