For the life of me, I cannot figure out the relationship between the plot of the show, Oh, Lady! Lady! and the song we are presenting today. It is called “Little Ships Come Sailing Home (When the Ships Come Home).” It was sung by Molly and the girls chorus, and it is a delightful song. According to Barry Day who edited a wonderful compilation of The Complete Lyrics of P.G. Wodehouse, the song was intended to convey to the girls Molly’s conviction that everything would “turn out fine.”
