Here I go again. I can’t help myself. The music is so beautiful that I have to post another version of “O soave fanciulla” this time by Enrico Caruso and Geraldine Farrar, opera stars of their time. This was recorded in 1912, and most of the clicks and pops have been removed in remastering. However, the sound equipment for recording sound in 1912 was fairly crude by today’s standards. Even with the poor recording equipment, the quality of the voices and the artistry of the singers comes through.
