Captain Harry Tryon, son of Gen. Tryon, finds the Murray House and tries to arrange for some refreshment for Generals Howe, Tryon and Clinton. Jane Murray, Mrs. Murray’s daughter, begins a flirtation with Harry, teasing him about his lack of brutish behavior. The delightful song is called “I Beg Your Pardon.” Rachel Kelly plays the flirtatious Jane, while Hal Cazalet plays the straight-laced Captain Tryon.
