Sweethearts–youtube

We are going to repeat the Eastman-Dryden orchestra selections, this time on youtube, which I came across only because I now know of the recording. Let me repeat the last post:

There is an Eastman-Dryden Orchestra CD called L’Encore covering any number of Victor Herbert pieces of music. One of the cuts on the CD is a 10 minute instrumental collection of music from the show, Sweethearts. It is a lovely montage of songs, but not in order as they appeared in the show:
1. On Parade 0-0:35 minutes
2. For Every Lover Must Meet His Fate )0:35-1:22 mins
3. Sweethearts 1:22-2:32 mins
4. (Not sure) 2:32-3:18 mins
5. Game of Love Into 3:18-3:38 mins
6. In the Convent 3:48-4:29 mins
7. Angelus 4:29-7:18 mins
8. Pretty As a Picture 7:19-7:48 mins
9. Cricket on the Hearth 7:48-8:30 mins
10. Jeanette and Her Little Wooden Shoes, also known as the Sabot Dance 8:30-9:10 mins
11. Reprise of Sweethearts 9:10 to the end 10:14 mins

We may start to publish fewer songs in one post; but post more often, so that we don’t overload you.
